This year we have formed a wonderful partnership with SHINE Girl's magazine and co-founder Jo Crawley.
Part of the Sista Speak program is to build on the girls’ self-esteem by making them aware of their skills and abilities.
To highlight these unique abilities, Jo invited the Sista Speak girls to submit a short story about themselves and a photo, to the online girls empowering magazine called Shine For Girls. Jo, visited the girls during one of their Sista Speak session, explained a little about what she hopes to achieve with the magazine and gathered the girl’s ideas for story lines. The team here at KLC assisted the girls to complete their profile stories during Sista Speak and took a photo during a session.
